Elegant design

In 2019, a new collection of Fine Lavender Water was crafted from beautiful raw materials with a focus on smell. It was necessary to associate these modern olfactory creations with a label that is very soft to the touch, sober by the choice of colors and a gold print that recalls the symbolism of blue gold from Provence to name fine lavender, a rare and precious flower from the South of France.

Le Château du Bois® offers their customers an olfactory getaway in the heart of Provence with each of their perfumes and cosmetics. The selection of raw materials is essential. The visual of the packaging must reveal what is inside and when touching the label it must evoke an emotion. In this case, it’s from the sweetness and soothing floral nature of fine lavender.

Adding the resin label

As Alexandre Petit-Barat likes to quote “Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing more to take away” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

In search of a new medium for their gift labels and an additional “accessory” on their cases to give relief, the proposal of the resin seal has fulfilled all customer’s expectations.

Combining the traditional shape of a seal with a perfect imitation of the relief and the flexibility of the wax, the color in the mass and the delicacy of the gold and silver hot stamping, form a perfect result on all our supports. The plus: the strength of the resin.

MCC has been able to target the right support in line with our new collection, the material is very interesting. Its delicacy and finesse in the execution of the print are very technical. Isn’t simplicity always difficult to achieve?”
