A modern, eco-friendly winery in Wield that was completed in 2010. It uses the latest technology and equipment from continental Europe, has sophisticated waste disposal facilities and was the first UK winery to adopt solar power.

Hattingley Valley uses the traditional method for making their wines. A key element of their style is the subtle use of oak barrels to ferment a small proportion of the wines each year, as well as ageing on lees in stainless steel tanks. This helps to soften the wines before they go into bottles for the second fermentation.

Multi-Color Labels produces the core range of labels for the UK market. Hattingley Valley approached them to look at producing something slightly different for the US market that would keep all the key signals of the brand but really stand out.

Using an uncoated material that foils and prints perfectly they were challenged by adding an extra dimension to the material without having to increase the cost. Creating a textured material emboss gave the control needed to allow all the print elements to still be at there best.
