30 Knots was born in windy Geraldton W.A. by crayfisherman and distiller Muz, who grew up riding the tides and bracing for ocean storms. Geraldton is well known for its lighthouse, keeping weary sailors safe for generations and a source of inspiration for this packaging. The local iconic Point Moore lighthouse inspired custom bottle designed by Zendoke and purposely under-designed label, pays tribute to the hard yakka way of life in Geraldton. Overlays of foil and embossing on the heavily textured stock invites exploration, allowing the consumer to discover that all is not what it seems, with the tasting notes of each label appearing to blow off the pack, swept up by the winds of Geraldton. Each product in the range is identified with a unique Australian inspired colour-way and finished with unique hand-set, wind-blown typography.
